A local dealer (New Holland dealer) has a L2850 GST for sale with 280 hrs, ag tires, 8x8 transmission. The tractor is in great shape (looks like it's been in the garage). No implements other than the Kubota front blade are included and he wants $12,500. Is this reasonable? What kind of horsepower does the L2850 have? Where can I find spec's on this tractor. Thanks in advance for any help.

Jim, I have a 1988 L 3250 I bought new (2000+ hrs. ago). Same tractor as the2850 only 40 engine hp, 32 pto hp. 2850 would be 34 ? and 28. Great tractorno problems. Sounds like the tractor you are looking at is in excellent condition.If you get no other input on price I would look at what a comparable new tractorwould cost and take it from there. It sounds like it is almost new condition, probably too old to be covered by warranty. ....
